Some time ago I tracked the path to the wonderful Cape Woolamai to catch the sunrise. Unfortunately, I wasn’t too impressed with that effort. The morning sky was cloudless, lacking drama that the subject commanded.
This afternoon I trecked to the same point with my gear, including rain gear as it was a nasty afternoon. This time around I was certain I would be able to achieve an improvement from the previous visit. I set up my camera, filters, comprising a .9 hard grad, polariser and big stopper, metered and set about recording these two angles.
I’m sure you’ll agree with me in that the mood and drama has been better demonstrated in these two examples.
Now it’s back to my swag and a good night’s rest before the next adventure…
